JSECC+PURE Assessment Certification
The Job Satisfaction, Engagement, Co-worker Connection Quality, and Work Context (JSECC) survey is an all-in-one assessment to measure people’s experience of their work environment through 51 questions. The output includes:
- Individual reports that cover 25 sub-factors to explore current experience of the work environment
- Group reports also include measurement of 17 legislated psychosocial hazards and the extent to which they are managed
JSECC Measures:
- Job Satisfaction – Job Enjoyment, Leadership Views, Management Views, Development Opportunities, Recognition, Commitment
- Engagement – Motivation, Interest, Productivity, Involvement, Accomplishment
- Co-worker Connection Quality – Association, Harmony, Communication, Trust
- Work Context – Ergonomics, Work Safety, Policies and Procedures, Administrative Work, Public Interactions, Training Regimes, Work Mental Impact, Work Social Impact, Work Relationship Impact
PURE - Psychosocial Hazard Compliance
The JSECC integrates the PURE framework to measure 17 psychosocial hazards required under law. Results are grouped into four categories:
- Protect – Job insecurity, traumatic events/material, remote or isolated work, poor physical environment, intrusive surveillance
- Unite – Violence and aggression, bullying, harassment (including sexual harassment), conflict, poor support
- Respect – Inadequate recognition/reward, poor organisational justice
- Empower – Lack of role clarity, poor organisational change management, high/low job demands, fatigue, low job control
Each of the 17 hazards are scored to indicate whether they are:
- High Risk (0–40%) – Needs urgent attention.
- Moderate Risk (40–60%) – Requires further action.
- Managed (60–100%) – Indicates good hazard management.
This framework helps organisations both improve culture and provide evidence for compliance. JSECC group reports produced through the Driven Pro system automatically include the PURE Psychosocial Hazard Review section, setting out the 17 hazards and management ratings for each through 5 additional pages.
