RFAST Training Outcomes

Included in RFAST

  • 2 Hours of Training – You can complete the training fully online (self-paced) through videos and interactive training, or you can find an instructor for live training
  • RFAST Participant Workbook – Summary of the workshop content, space for notes, plus your own Active Strength analysis and personal Resilience Action Plan
  • Completion Certificate – Useful as evidence of ongoing professional development marking 2 hours of attended training

RFAST Curriculum Overview

The RFAST workshop covers the following topics:

  • The evolution of mental health towards prevention, emerging trends in therapies, and new approaches
  • The importance of psychosocial hazard awareness and your role in promoting a healthy environment
  • The concept of Connected Resilience and strategies for cultivating it
  • The six resilience domains, including their highs, lows, and risk factor awareness
  • Identifying your unique strengths and creating a tailored resilience action plan

The scientific basis of the RFAST course is the Predictive 6 Factor Resilience Model, and includes training on concepts of Psychosocial Hazards from Australia’s legislation for organisation.

Is this an accredited course?

RFAST is an introductory course. If you are looking for accredited training, you can complete the 2-day Resilience First Aid which is fully accredited under the Australian Government’s Suicide Prevention framework. The Driven Resilience Program which Resilience First Aid is based on is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Prehospital Continuing Education (CAPCE). This includes the Driven Resilience App provided in the training itself, alongside the peer-reviewed PR6 resilience model providing the scientific foundation of the six resilience domains model. What happens on completion of the course?

On completion of the course, you will receive a certificate of completion, marking 2 hours of completed training. You can then use this certificate for continuing education requirements.
